Summary
Authorization to execute a lease agreement between the Lexington-Fayette Urban County Government and Pilgrim Baptist Church for use of parking lot adjacent to Coolavin Park at 603 West Fifth Street commencing on July 1, 2015 and ending on June 30, 2016 with two automatic renewals of one year each ending June 30, 2018 unless terminated by either party and subject to funds being budgeted. BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE LEXINGTON-FAYETTE URBAN COUNTY GOVERNMENT:
Section 1 - That the Mayor, on behalf of the Lexington-Fayette Urban County Government, be and hereby is authorized to execute the Lease Agreement, which is attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference, with Pilgrim Baptist Church for use of its parking lot located adjacent to Coolavin Park, beginning July 1, 2015, and ending June 30, 2016, with two automatic renewals for one year each unless terminated by either party and subject to funds being budgeted.
Section 2 - That an amount not to exceed the sum of $1,000.00 be and hereby is approved for payment to Pilgrim Baptist Church, from account 1101-707606-7641-71301, pursuant to the terms of the Lease Agreement.
Section 3 - That this Resolution shall become effective on the date of its passage.
