Summary
Authorization to execute an amendment to the Agreement with Community Action Council for the Emergency Family Housing program to provide rental funds for property at 325 Wilgus Avenue. This home is being provided for a family experiencing homelessness and existing grant funds can be used to pay for services to that family but additional rent funds are needed to expand the scope of the project by one family. BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE LEXINGTON-FAYETTE URBAN COUNTY GOVERNMENT:
Section 1 - That the Mayor, on behalf of the Lexington-Fayette Urban County Government, be and hereby is authorized and directed to execute the Amendment to the Agreement, which is attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference, with Community Action Council for Lexington-Fayette, Bourbon, Harrison, and Nicholas Counties, Inc., providing additional funds for the operation of the Emergency Family Housing Program.
Section 2 - That an amount, not to exceed the sum of $12,000.00, be and hereby is approved for payment to Community Action Council for Lexington-Fayette, Bourbon, Harrison, and Nicholas Counties, Inc., from account #1145-155003-78112, pursuant to the terms of the Amendment to the Agreement.
Section 3 - This Resolution shall become effective on the date of its passage.
