The Department of Environmental Quality and Public Works has budgeted funds to establish the Sustainability Grant program to encourage residents to work collaboratively and creatively to find ways to improve the environmental health of our neighborhoods.

BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE LEXINGTON-FAYETTE URBAN COUNTY GOVERNMENT:
Section 1 - That the Mayor, on behalf of the Lexington-Fayette Urban County Government, be and hereby is authorized to execute the agreements, which are attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference, awarding Sustainability Grants to the following entities in the amounts shown:
ARLINGTON CHRISTIAN CHURCH ($1,200), ASHLAND PARK NEIGHBORHOOD ASSOCIATION ($2,500), CASTLEWOOD NEIGHBORHOOD ASSOCIATION ($2,485), CHARLESTON GARDEN HOMEOWNERS ASSOCIATION ($2,000), FIREBROOK HOMEOWNER ASSOCIATION ($500), GROWING TOGETHER PRESCHOOL, INC. ($2,500), HAMBURG HOMEOWNER ASSOCIATION ($2,500), IDLE HOUR NEIGHBORS ALLIANCE, INC. Section 2 - That an amount, not to exceed the sums stated, be and hereby is approved for payment to each Grantee from account # 1115 313201 78112, pursuant to the terms of the agreements.
Section 3 - That this Resolution shall become effective on the date of its passage.
