BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE LEXINGTON-FAYETTE URBAN COUNTY GOVERNMENT:
Section 1 - That the Mayor, on behalf of the Lexington-Fayette Urban County Government (LFUCG), be and hereby is authorized and directed to execute the Memorandum of Understanding, which is attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference, with The Triangle Foundation, Inc. and Friends Towards Freedom, Inc., and any other necessary documents referenced in the Memorandum of Understanding, regarding the construction of a public plaza directly adjacent to the recently commissioned statue, “Towards Freedom”, for the Division of Parks and Recreation, at no cost to the Urban County Government.
Section 2 - That this Resolution shall become effective on the date of its passage.
