This is a request to award funds in the amount of $23,018 for proposed projects under the Neighborhood and Community Sustainability Grant program and enter into a contract with each neighborhood. BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE LEXINGTON-FAYETTE URBAN COUNTY GOVERNMENT:
Section 1 - That the Mayor, on behalf of the Lexington-Fayette Urban County Government, be and hereby is authorized to execute the agreements, which are attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference, awarding Neighborhood Community and Sustainability Grants to Arbor Youth Service, Fairway Neighborhood Association, Hamburg Homeowners Association, Heritage Place Condominium Association, Sandersville Elementary School, Southern Heights Neighborhood Association, WGPL Neighborhood Association, Woodward-Lander Homeowners Association, and Growing Together Preschool, Inc.
Section 2 - That an amount, not to exceed the sums stated, be and hereby is approved for payment to Arbor Youth Service ($1,342), Fairway Neighborhood Association ($1,475), Hamburg Homeowners Association ($5,000), Heritage Place Condominium Association ($5,000), Sandersville Elementary School ($2,230), Southern Heights Neighborhood Association ($1,866), WGPL Neighborhood Association ($3,920), Woodward-Lander Homeowners Association ($2,185), and Growing Together Preschool, Inc. ($2,500), from account #1115-313201-78112, pursuant to the terms of the agreements.
Section 3 - That this Resolution shall become effective on the date of its passage.
