BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE LEXINGTON-FAYETTE URBAN COUNTY GOVERNMENT:
Section 1 - That the Mayor, on behalf of the Lexington-Fayette Urban County Government, be and hereby is authorized and directed to accept a Grant from the U.S. Department of Transportation, which Grant funds are in the amount of $14,095,887 Federal funds, under the 2016 Transportation Investment Generating Economic Recovery (TIGER) Competitive Grant Program, are for the constructions of sections (Zones 3, 4, 6, and 7) of the Town Branch Commons Project, the acceptance of which obligates the Lexington-Fayette Urban County Government for the expenditure of $3,523,972 as a local match.
Section 2 - That subject to the provisions of Ordinance No. 22-79, the Mayor is hereby authorized, in his discretion as Chief Executive Officer of the Urban County Government, to transfer the unencumbered balance of any operating or capital account ap-propriation to another operating or capital account appropriation within the Grant Budget previously established for this Grant.
Section 3 - That this Resolution shall become effective on the date of its passage.
