BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE LEXINGTON-FAYETTE URBAN COUNTY GOVERNMENT:

                     Section 1 - That the Mayor, on behalf of the Lexington-Fayette Urban County Government, be and hereby is authorized and directed to accept Federal funds in the amount of $159,460 from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development’s HOPWA Grant Program, awarded under the CARES Act, and are for the reimbursement of expenses incurred to prevent, prepare for and respond to COVID-19, the acceptance of which does not obligate the Urban County Government for the expenditure of funds.

                     Section 2 - That subject to the provisions of Ordinance No. 22-79, the Mayor is hereby authorized, in her discretion as Chief Executive Officer of the Urban County Government, to transfer the unencumbered balance of any operating or capital account ap-propriation to another operating or capital account appropriation within the Grant Budget established for this Grant.

                     Section 3 - That the Mayor, on behalf of the Lexington-Fayette Urban County Government, be and hereby is authorized and directed to execute an Agreement, attached and incorporated herein for reference, with AVOL Kentucky for the purpose of providing short-term rental services and other eligible program services.

                     Section 4 - That this Resolution shall become effective on the date of its passage.
