Summary
Authorization to abolish one (1) classified position of Staff Assistant Sr. (Grade 510N) and create one (1) classified position of Administrative Specialist (Grade 513N); reclassifying the incumbent within the Division of Water Quality, effective upon passage of Council. Upon the request of the div., and in accordance with Section 21-2 (d) of the Code of Ordinances, the Division of Human Resources conducted a reclassification study on the requested position of Staff Assistant Sr. held by Toni Floyd within the Division of Water Quality. The position was analyzed by staff using the whole job rank and factor comparison methods. As a result, a recommendation for the reclassification is described in this action. To illustrate, this has a 12-month future impact of a cost of $5,720.97. The funds are Budgeted. (L1421-15)(Maxwell/Hoskins-Squier)

Section 2 - That the following subsection line number in the classified civil service authorized strength be and hereby is amended to read as follows:
340.130 4 105 513N Administrative Specialist
Section 3 - That the incumbent, Toni Floyd, be and hereby is reclassified from Staff Assistant Sr., Grade 510N, at $18.362 hourly to Administrative Specialist, Grade 513N, at $20.565 hourly.
Section 4 - That this Ordinance shall become effective on passage of Council.
