Summary
Authorization to accept an Addendum to the existing Commercial Security Alarm Agreement with Sonitrol of Lexington, Inc. (Resolution #195-2023) for the Lexington Police Department Firing Range to allow for the addition of burglary monitoring to the on-site Storage Building, as well as an Addendum to this Agreement to extend the term for a period of five (5) years from the date installation is completed, pursuant to the schedule. BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE LEXINGTON-FAYETTE URBAN COUNTY GOVERNMENT:
Section 1 - That the Mayor, on behalf of the Lexington-Fayette Urban County Government, be and hereby is authorized and directed to execute the addendum to the Sonitrol Agreement (Resolution 195-2023), which is attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference, with Sonitrol of Lexington, Inc., for addition of burglary monitoring and term extension.
Section 2 - That an amount, not to exceed the sum of $3,325.00 plus $40.00 per month, be and hereby is approved for payment to Sonitrol of Lexington, Inc., from account #1101-505507-75801, pursuant to the terms of the addendum.
Section 3 - That this Resolution shall become effective on the date of its passage.
