Summary
Authorization to execute an Agreement with Riggs Ward Design to provide the services described in RFP #3-2026 Outreach Trailer Design. This Contract will support the information and engagement goals of the Department of Environmental Quality and Public Works, the Lexington Metropolitan Planning Organization, and the Division of Planning by providing plans and designs for interactive, memorable outreach tools that can be used in conjunction with the outreach trailer, K-12 units of study, and events, as well as through partnerships with local organizations, at a cost of $135,000. BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE LEXINGTON-FAYETTE URBAN COUNTY GOVERNMENT:
Section 1 - That the Mayor, on behalf of the Lexington-Fayette Urban County Government, be and hereby is authorized and directed to execute the Agreement (awarded pursuant to RFP #3-2026), which is attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference, with Riggs Ward Design, to provide plans and designs for interactive outreach tools, for the Division of Environmental Services.
Section 2 - That an amount, not to exceed the sum of $135,000.00, be and hereby is approved for payment to Riggs Ward Design, from accounts #1101-313201-71299 ($25,000.00), #1105-313201-71299 ($25,000.00) #4002-313201-71299 ($20,000), #4051-313201-71299 ($38,000.00), and #4121-313101-71299 ($27,000.00), pursuant to the terms of the Agreement.
Section 3 - That this Resolution shall become effective on the date of its passage.
