Summary
WHEREAS, it is necessary and proper to amend the Budgets of the Lexington-Fayette Urban County Government to provide funds for purchase orders and pre-paid expenses rolling from FY 2025 into FY 2026.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE LEXINGTON-FAYETTE URBAN COUNTY GOVERNMENT:
Section 1 - That certain of the Budgets of the Lexington-Fayette Urban County Government be and hereby are amended to provide funds for purchase orders and pre-paid expenses rolling from FY 2025 into FY 2026, and that to effect such Amendments, the following appropriations be and hereby are authorized and directed:
) $16,205,156.54 from the Unappropriated Fund Balance in the General Services District-General Fund to various accounts.
) $7,895,614.23 from the Unappropriated Fund Balance in the Full Urban Services District Fund to various accounts.
) $62,546.11 from the Unappropriated Fund Balance in the Police Confiscated Federal Fund to various accounts.
) $42,421.48 from the Unappropriated Fund Balance in the Police Confiscated State Fund to various accounts.
) $847,751.15 from the Unappropriated Fund Balance in the Municipal Aid Program Fund to various accounts.
) $468,243.86 from the Unappropriated Fund Balance in the County Road Aid Program Fund to various accounts.
) $256,618.44 from the Unappropriated Fund Balance in the Mineral Severance Fund to various accounts.
) $43,750.00 from the Unappropriated Fund Balance in the Police Confiscated Treasury Fund to various accounts.
) $1,217,258.57 from the Unappropriated Fund Balance in the Affordable Housing and Homelessness Fund to various accounts.
) $7,131,518.11 from the Unappropriated Fund Balance in the Sanitary Sewer Revenue and Operating Fund to various accounts.
) $251,704.00 from the Unappropriated Fund Balance in the Public Facilities Fund - General to various accounts.

Section 2 - That the purposes of the Budget Amendments and the Accounts to or from which funds are herein appropriated, are detailed in “BUDGET SCHEDULE NO. 0002”, attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference.
Section 3 - That this Ordinance shall become effective on the date of its passage.
