BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE LEXINGTON-FAYETTE URBAN COUNTY GOVERNMENT:
Section 1 - That the Mayor, on behalf of the Lexington-Fayette Urban County Government, be and hereby is authorized to execute an Agreement, which is attached hereto and incorporated by reference, with Norfolk Southern RailRd., to review the following five (5) crossings for safety improvements required in order to establish a railRd. quiet zone in the vicinity of each crossing: DOT Crossing #724527H, DOT #724528P, DOT #724513A, DOT #724525N and DOT #724516V. All work shall be completed as outlined by Norfolk Southern and the Federal RailRd. Administration.
Section 2 - That an estimated amount not to exceed the sum of $17,500.00, be and hereby is approved for payment to Norfolk Southern RailRd., from account # 1105-303601-2023, pursuant to the terms of the Agreement.
Section 3 - That this Resolution shall become effective on the date of its passage.
