BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE LEXINGTON-FAYETTE URBAN COUNTY GOVERNMENT:
Section 1 - That the bid of E.C. Matthews Company, Inc., in the amount of $865,000.00, for the Lexington Streetscape Phase One Improvements, Site Amenities - South Limestone and Vine Streets, for the Department of Environmental Quality and Public Works, be and hereby is accepted and approved as to the specifications and amounts set forth in the terms of the bid, which is attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference, and the Mayor, on behalf of the Lexington-Fayette Urban County Government, be and hereby is authorized to execute the agreement with E.C. Matthews Company, Inc., which is attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference, related to the bid.
Section 2 - That an amount, not to exceed the sum of $865,000.00, be and hereby is approved for payment to E.C. Matthews Company, Inc., from account #3160-303301-91714 ($851,677.00) and account #2600-303301-91714 ($13,323.00), pursuant to the terms of the bid and the agreement.
Section 3 - That this Resolution shall become effective on the date of its passage.
