Summary

This is a request to execute agreements with Fayette County Commonwealth Attorney, Kenton County Commonwealth Attorney, and Commonwealth Attorney for the 28th Judicial Circuit for performance of services under the 2010 Project Safe Neighborhood Grant.  The approved grant application provides federal funds as follows:  Fayette County Commonwealth Attorney in the amount of $10,000, Kenton County Commonwealth Attorney in the amount of $7,500, and Commonwealth Attorney for the 28th Judicial Circuit in the amount of $6,500.  Funds are budgeted.

      BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE LEXINGTON-FAYETTE URBAN COUNTY GOVERNMENT:
      Section 1 - That the Mayor, on behalf of the Lexington-Fayette Urban County Government, be and hereby is authorized and directed to execute Agreements, which are attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference, with the Fayette County Commonwealth Attorney's Office, the Kenton County Commonwealth Attorney's Office and the Commonwealth Attorney, 28th Judicial Circuit, for services under the 2010 Project Safe Neighborhood Program.
      Section 2 - That an amount, not to exceed the sum of $10,000.00 for the Fayette County Commonwealth Attorney's Office, $7,500.00 for the Kenton County Commonwealth Attorney's Office and $6,500.00 for the Commonwealth Attorney, 28th Judicial Circuit, be and hereby is approved for payment to the Fayette County Commonwealth Attorney's Office, the Kenton County Commonwealth Attorney's Office and the Commonwealth Attorney, 28th Judicial Circuit from account #3140-505001-71299, pursuant to the terms of the Agreement.
      Section 3 - That this Resolution shall become effective on the date of its passage.
