BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE LEXINGTON-FAYETTE URBAN COUNTY GOVERNMENT:
Section 1 - That ThermoFisher Scientific Inc., be and hereby is established as a sole source provider for the purchase of TruDefender FTX Handheld FTIR Analyzer equipment, for the Division of Fire and Emergency Services, and authorizing and directing the Mayor or her designee, on behalf of the Lexington-Fayette Urban County Government, to execute any necessary Agreements with ThermoFisher Scientific, Inc. related to the procurement of this equipment.
Section 2 - That an amount, not to exceed the sum of $38,850.00, be and hereby is approved for payment to ThermoFisher Scientific Inc., from account #3200-505702-75801 ($34,965.00) and from account #1101-505702-75801 ($3,885.00), pursuant to the terms of the Agreement.
Section 3 - That this Resolution shall become effective on the date of its passage.
