Summary

Authorization to execute an amendment to the 2019,  2020, and 2023 Annual Action Plans and reallocate funding from several existing Community Development Block Grant projects for the Arbor Youth sprinkle system installation ($155,464), and Community Block Grant Cares Act funding for the Office of Homelessness Prevention and Intervention for laundry service at the winter shelter ($7,031.83).                      BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE LEXINGTON-FAYETTE URBAN COUNTY GOVERNMENT:

                     Section 1 - That the Council of the Lexington-Fayette Urban County Government does hereby approve and adopt substantial amendments to the 2019, 2020, and 2023 Annual Action Plans, which are attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference, reallocating funding from existing Cares Act Community Development Block Grant (CDBG-CV) Projects, and decreasing funds for the 2019 Community Development Block Grant Administration ($3,600.11), 2020 Community Development Block Grant Cares Act Administration ($3,431.72), Office of Homelessness Prevention and Intervention ($7,031.83), Radio Eye ($8,910.47), Application Fees and Deposit Assistance ($88,763.27), and Meadows Northland Arlington Public Improvement ($57,790.26), and reallocating those funds to Arbor Youth ($155,464.00).

                     Section 2 - That subject to the provisions of Section 7-48 of the Lexington-Fayette Urban County Government Code of Ordinances, the Mayor is hereby authorized, in her discretion as Chief Executive Officer of the Urban County Government, to transfer the unencumbered balance of any operating or capital account appropriation to another operating or capital account appropriation within the Grant budget previously established for this Grant.

                     Section 3 - That this Resolution shall become effective on the date of its passage.
