Summary
Authorization to accept a proposal from AECOM to update ITS architecture at a cost not to exceed $75,000. In order to comply with federal ITS standards, the Lexington Area MPO is required to update the ITS architecture a minimum of every five years. The last update occurred in spring 2015 and, therefore, an update is necessary by spring 2020. Funds are Budgeted. (L1188-19) (Neal/Albright)

BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE LEXINGTON-FAYETTE URBAN COUNTY GOVERNMENT:
Section 1 - That the Mayor, on behalf of the Lexington-Fayette Urban County Government, be and hereby is authorized and directed to execute the Professional Services Agreement, which is attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference, with AECOM, for the update of the ITS (Intelligent Transportation System) Architecture, in response to RFP No. 36-2019.
Section 2 - That an amount, not to exceed the sum of $75,000.00, be and hereby is approved for payment to AECOM from account #3160-303602-71205 ($71,500.00) and account #3160-303602-74102 ($3,500.00) pursuant to the terms of the Professional Services Agreement.
Section 3 - That this Resolution shall become effective on the date of its passage.
