Summary
Authorization to accept the attached Agreement with the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) Program Funded State & Local Task Force. The terms of the Agreement shall be from October 1, 2019 through September 30, 2020. This Agreement allows for two (2) Detectives assigned to the DEA State & Local Task Force positions, within the Lexington Police Department, to be assigned as Program Funded State & Local Task Force positions. BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE LEXINGTON-FAYETTE URBAN COUNTY GOVERNMENT:
Section 1 - That the Mayor, on behalf of the Lexington-Fayette Urban County Government, be and hereby is authorized and directed to execute the Agreement, which is attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference, with the Drug Enforcement Administration, for assignment of two (2) detectives to the DEA Program Funded State & Local Task Force.
Section 2 - That this Resolution shall become effective on the date of its passage.
