An Ordinance levying ad valorem taxes for purposes of support of the Soil and Water Conservation District for the Fiscal Year July 1, 2019 through June 30, 2020, on the assessed value of all taxable real property within the taxing jurisdiction of the Lexington-Fayette Urban County Government, including real property of public service companies, at a rate of $.0006 on each one hundred dollars ($100.00) of assessed valuation as of the January 1, 2019, assessment date. Summary

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE LEXINGTON-FAYETTE URBAN COUNTY GOVERNMENT:

                     Section 1- That for the purposes of support of the Soil and Water Conservation District and the payment of their debts and expenses for the Fiscal Year July 1, 2019 through June 30, 2020, there be and hereby is levied an ad valorem tax on each One Hundred Dollars ($100.00) of the assessed valuation of all taxable real property, including real property of public service companies, within the taxing jurisdiction of the Lexington-Fayette Urban County Government as of the January 1, 2019 assessment date, in the amount of $.0006. 

                     Section 2 - That the Clerk of the Urban County Council be and hereby is directed to forward a copy of this Ordinance, along with an appropriate cover letter, to Department of Revenue, Office of Property Valuation, Attn: Joe Lancaster, Executive Director, 501 High Street, Frankfort, Kentucky 40601.

                     Section 3 - That this Ordinance shall become effective upon the date of its passage.
