Summary

LHA will contribute up to $700.00 per household for the initial expenses. The funds will target those households experiencing homeless and are referred to LHA through the OneDoor Lex Coordinated Entry process for a housing voucher. Budget amendment in process. BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE LEXINGTON-FAYETTE URBAN COUNTY GOVERNMENT:
Section 1 - That the Mayor, on behalf of the Lexington-Fayette Urban County Government, be and hereby is authorized and directed to execute the Agreement, which is attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference, with Lexington Housing Authority, providing a one-time Grant to help with Deposit and Move-In Financial assistance for those experiencing homelessness.
Section 2 - That an amount, not to exceed the sum of $20,000.00, be and hereby is approved for payment to Lexington Housing Authority, from account #1145-155003- 78112, pursuant to the terms of the Agreement.
Section 3 - That this Resolution shall become effective on the date of its passage.
