A Resolution authorizing and directing the Mayor, on behalf of the Urban County Government, to execute a Memorandum of Agreement with the American Red Cross for facility use for emergency and disaster related activities. [Div. of Emergency Management, Dugger]

 

 

Summary

Request Council authorization for the Mayor to sign a Resolution to enter into a facility use Agreement with the Lexington Fayette Urban County Government for use of the Senior Center with the American Red Cross.  This Agreement will permit the Red Cross to use and occupy the facility on a temporary basis to conduct emergency, disaster related activities

BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE LEXINGTON-FAYETTE URBAN COUNTY GOVERNMENT:

                     Section 1 - That the Mayor, on behalf of the Lexington-Fayette Urban County Government, be and hereby is authorized and directed to execute the Agreement, which is attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference, with the American Red Cross for facility use for emergency and disaster related activities.

                     Section 2 - That this Resolution shall become effective on the date of its passage.
