WHEREAS, pursuant to House Bill 26, enacted by the 2019 Kentucky General assembly, the Lexington-Fayette Urban County Government May increase the amount of an expenditure for which it is not required to legally advertise for bids from $20,000 to $30,000; and
WHEREAS, the Lexington-Fayette Urban County Government would like to raise the amount of its bids that would require legal advertisement from $20,000 to $30,000 and make other changes to its Procurement Regulations consistent with HB 26.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE LEXINGTON-FAYETTE URBAN COUNTY GOVERNMENT:
Section 1 - That the Lexington-Fayette Urban County Government hereby amends the attached "Lexington-Fayette Urban County Government Procurement Regulations" to increase the amount of and expenditure for which the Lexington-Fayette Urban County Government is not required to legally advertise for bids from $20,000 to $30,000, and make other changes consistent with HB 26, enacted by the 2019 Kentucky General Assembly.
