Summary
Authorization to execute a Licensed or Certified Provider Agreement with Kentucky’s Department for Community Based Services. This agreement certifies the Division of Family Services as a vendor with the state funded Child Care Assistance Program. Budgetary Implications: Family Care Center’s daily child care rate is $30 for infants and toddlers (birth - 2 years old); and $26 for pre-school children (3 & 4 year old). BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE LEXINGTON-FAYETTE URBAN COUNTY GOVERNMENT:
Section 1 - That the Mayor, on behalf of the Lexington-Fayette Urban County Government, be and hereby is authorized and directed to execute an Agreement, which is attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference, with Commonwealth of Kentucky’s Department of Community Based Service, for certification of the Family Care Center as a vendor with the State-funded Child Care Assistance Program, at no cost to the Urban County Government.
Section 2 - That this Resolution shall become effective on the date of its passage.
