Authorization to execute a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the Kentucky State Police (KSP), Internet Crimes Against Children Program (ICAC). The purpose of this MOU is to establish guidelines and requirements for Affiliate Agency in its participation in the Task Force. KSP is the law enforcement Grant administrator for the Commonwealth of Kentucky for the Office of Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention (OJJDP). No Budgetary impact. BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE LEXINGTON-FAYETTE URBAN COUNTY GOVERNMENT:
Section 1 - That the Mayor, on behalf of the Lexington-Fayette Urban County Government, be and hereby is authorized and directed to execute the Memorandum of Understanding, which is attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference, with the Kentucky State Police, Internet Crimes Against Children Program, for participation in the Task Force, at no cost to the Government.
Section 2 - That this Resolution shall become effective on the date of its passage.
