Authorization to execute a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) with the Alpha Company, 4th Law Enforcement Battalion (A CO). This Agreement allows for the Lexington Division of Police to send an armed Police officer to the Alpha Company, Armed Forces Reserve Center, within 10 minutes of a telephone or automatic notification of a reported activation of any alarm or intruder detection system. BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE LEXINGTON-FAYETTE URBAN COUNTY GOVERNMENT:
Section 1 - That the Mayor, on behalf of the Lexington-Fayette Urban County Government, be and hereby is authorized and directed to execute the Agreement, which is attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference, with the Alpha Company, 4th Law Enforcement Battalion, for shared personnel, at no cost to the Government.
Section 2 - That this Resolution shall become effective on the date of its passage.
