WHEREAS, pursuant to Code of Ordinances Section 18-51 and other authorities, the Division of Traffic Engineering is authorized and empowered to place and maintain traffic control signs, signals, and devices to regulate traffic; and
WHEREAS, pursuant to Code of Ordinances Section 18-86, the Division of Traffic Engineering is further authorized and empowered to designate intersections where stop controls are necessary to regulate traffic; and
WHEREAS, the Division of Traffic Engineering has performed a Decommissioning Study regarding the removal of traffic control signals and the installation of multi-way stop controls at the following intersections: North Martin Luther King Boulevard and East Second Street and North Martin Luther King Boulevard and East Fourth Street; and
