BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE LEXINGTON-FAYETTE URBAN COUNTY GOVERNMENT:
Section 1 - That Section 2-453(a) of the Code of Ordinances be and hereby is amended to read as follows:
Sec. 2-453. - Terms.
(a) Members of the commission shall serve a term of four (4) years from the date of appointment, provided the terms of those originally appointed shall be staggered in the following manner:
Two (2) members shall be appointed for one (1) year;
Two (2) members shall be appointed for two (2) years;
Two (2) members shall be appointed for three (3) years; and
Three (3) members shall be appointed for four (4) years.
Section 2 - That this Ordinance shall become effective on the date of its passage.
