                     BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE LEXINGTON-FAYETTE URBAN COUNTY GOVERNMENT:

                     Section 1 - That the administration of the Lexington-Fayette Urban County Government, through the Office of the Mayor, be and hereby is authorized and directed to negotiate a long term lease-to-own Agreement and any other necessary related Agreements or documents with CRM Companies and any other necessary parties, which shall be consistent with the parameters established in RFP No. 55-2017 (New Government Center), for a New Government Center/City Hall to be located at 100 Midland Avenue, Lexington, Kentucky.

                     Section 2 - That the Urban County Council will be provided regular updates related to the progress of the negotiations, including any determination by the administration that any final Agreement would not be in the best interest of the Lexington-Fayette Urban County Government or could not otherwise be reached. 

                     Section 3 - That any Agreement(s) related to this matter shall not be binding on the Lexington-Fayette Urban County Government until such time as they May be approved in final form and authorized by the Urban County Council.

                      Section 4 - That this Resolution shall become effective on the date of its passage.
