Summary
Authorization to execute a Health Services Agreement with Corizon, Inc for the offender medical services at the Division of Community Corrections. The current contract with Corizon expires at the end of the fiscal year. This amendment will be a one-year extension to the contract. The fourth amendment includes increased staffing, coverage of AIDS medications, and an increase to the aggregate CAP to cover outside medical costs. Total base compensation not to exceed $5,197,475. BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE LEXINGTON-FAYETTE URBAN COUNTY GOVERNMENT:
Section 1 - That the Mayor, on behalf of the Lexington-Fayette Urban County Government, be and hereby is authorized and directed to execute the Fourth Amendment to Agreement, which is attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference, with Corizon, LLC, for provision of health services at the Detention Center for FY 2019.
Section 2 - That an amount, not to exceed the sum of $5,194,475, be and hereby is approved for payment to Corizon, LLC, from account #1101-505402-5421-71203, pursuant to the terms of the Fourth Amendment to Agreement.
Section 3 - That this Resolution shall become effective on the date of its passage.
