A Resolution authorizing and directing the Mayor, on behalf of the Urban County Government, to execute a Memorandum of Agreement with the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives, for reimbursement of costs. [Div. of Police, Weathers]

 

Summary

Authorization to execute a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) with the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF).  This Agreement allows for the reimbursement of overtime salary costs and other costs, with prior ATF approval, including but not limited to travel, fuel, training and equipment incurred by Lexington Fayette Urban County Government in providing resources to assist ATF.  This MOA will terminate at the close of business on September 30, 2022. Funds are Budgeted to cover reimbursable overtime. (L0430-18) (Weathers/Armstrong)

                     BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE LEXINGTON-FAYETTE URBAN COUNTY GOVERNMENT:

                     Section 1 - That the Mayor, on behalf of the Lexington-Fayette Urban County Government, be and hereby is authorized and directed to execute the Memorandum of Agreement, which is attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference, with Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives for reimbursement of costs.

                     Section 2 - That this Resolution shall become effective on the date of its passage.
