Summary
Authorization to execute the 2018 General Term Orders for the Fayette County Clerk and Fayette County Sheriff. This action establishes the maximum annual expenditures for personnel, operating, and capital, and is used by the Department of Local Government as a guideline for approval of reimbursement of expenditures. The 2018 General Term Orders need to be approved in order for the expenditures for these offices to be processed by the Department of Local Government. There is no Budgetary impact to the LFUCG. WHEREAS, KRS 64.350(1) provides that in counties having a population of seventy thousand (70,000) or more, the salaries of the county clerks and sheriffs and of their deputies and all necessary office expenses, including the equipping, furnishing, maintaining, and operation of the offices, shall be paid out of the State Treasury in amounts not to exceed seventy-five percent (75%) of the fees collected by the officers respectively; and
