BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE LEXINGTON-FAYETTE URBAN COUNTY GOVERNMENT:
Section 1 - That the Mayor, on behalf of the Lexington-Fayette Urban County Government, be and hereby is authorized and directed to execute and submit the Grant Application, which is attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference, to the United States Department of Justice, under the Edward Byrne Memorial Justice Assistance Grant (JAG) Program - FY 2018 and to provide any additional information requested in connection with this Grant Application, and to accept this Grant if the application is approved, which Grant funds are in the amount of $157,318.00 Federal funds, and are for various local Law Enforcement programs.
Section 2 - That this Resolution shall become effective on the date of its passage.
