Summary

Authorization to execute an Agreement awarding an FY17 Class B (Infrastructure) Stormwater Quality Projects Incentive Grant to Blue Grass Stockyards, LLC. Funds in the amount of $300,000.00 will be used to manage Stormwater runoff quality and quantity in an effort to protect the Royal Spring Aquifer. Funds will also be used to provide education about BMP’s and Stormwater quality. Funds are Budgeted. (L0635-17) (Martin/Hoskins-Squier)

                     BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE LEXINGTON-FAYETTE URBAN COUNTY GOVERNMENT:

                     Section 1 - That the Mayor, on behalf of the Lexington-Fayette Urban County Government, be and hereby is authorized to execute the Agreement, which is attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference, awarding a Class B (Infrastructure) Incentive Grant to Blue Grass Stockyards, LLC, for stormwater quality projects.

                     Section 2 - That an amount, not to exceed $300,000.00, be and hereby is approved for payment to Blue Grass Stockyards, LLC, from account # 4052 - 303204 - 78112, pursuant to the terms of the Agreement.

                     Section 3 - That this Resolution shall become effective on the date of its passage.
