Summary
Authorization to execute a Right-of-Way Agreement with Columbia Gas of Kentucky to permit a new permanent easement 20’ wide by approximately 250’ long in Veterans Park to install a new 4” low pressure gas line. Columbia Gas of Kentucky will abandon approximately 3000’ of high pressure gas line easement currently in Veterans Park and provide $2,500 for consideration of the new easement. BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE LEXINGTON-FAYETTE URBAN COUNTY GOVERNMENT:
Section 1 - That the Mayor, on behalf of the Lexington-Fayette Urban County Government, be and hereby is authorized to execute the Right-of-Way Easement, which is attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference, Granting Columbia Gas of Kentucky, Inc., a new gas line easement across a portion of Veterans Park in consideration of $2,500.00.
Section 2 - That this Resolution shall become effective on the date of its passage.
