Summary
Authorization to approve Change Order #1 to the LFUCG Agreement with Columbia Gas of Kentucky, Inc. for utility relocation of a 6-inch diameter gas main for the Marquis Avenue Sanitary Sewer Replacement Project. Per item 6 of the utility relocation Agreement authorized by Resolution No. 602-2016, the requester (LFUCG) shall pay Columbia Gas the actual cost of the relocation. The actual cost of the relocation totaled $36,054.03 which is a $12,524.03 increase above the original estimated $23,530.00 cost presented in the utility relocation Agreement for Job Order No. 16-0266670-00. BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE LEXINGTON-FAYETTE URBAN COUNTY GOVERNMENT:
Section 1 - That the Mayor, on behalf of the Lexington-Fayette Urban County Government, be and hereby is authorized to execute Change Order No. 1, which is attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference, to the Agreement with Columbia Gas of Kentucky, Inc., for the relocation of utilities for the Marquis Avenue Sanitary Sewer Replacement Project, increasing the Contract price by the sum of $12,524.03 from $23,530.00 to $36,054.03.
