BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE LEXINGTON-FAYETTE URBAN COUNTY GOVERNMENT:
Section 1 - That the Mayor, on behalf of the Lexington-Fayette Urban County Government, be and hereby is authorized and directed to execute and submit a Grant Application, which is attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference, to the United States Office of Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention and to provide any additional information requested in connection with this Grant Application, which Grant funds are in the amount of $333,000.00 Federal funds under the 2017 Safe and Thriving Communities Planning and Collaboration Program, and are for the development of a Comprehensive 5-year Plan to address youth violence, for the Division of Youth Services.
Section 2- That this Resolution shall become effective on the date of its passage.
