Summary
Authorization to accept a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the Louisville/Jefferson County Metro Government, acting by and through its Louisville Metro Emergency Medical Services (LMEMS). This MOU is for CPR services provided by the Louisville Metro Emergency Medical Services (LMEMS) CPR Training Center which covers the entire cost of certifying our agency in the American Heart Association's Basic Life Support and First Aid programs. The American Heart Association's BLS and First Aid certification is recognized by all of our area hospitals - the American Red Cross is not. The cost associated with this training will be supported with the Professional Services funding account within the Training Budget. Fiscal Year 2017 cost is $5,184.50. Funds are Budgeted. BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE LEXINGTON-FAYETTE URBAN COUNTY GOVERNMENT:
Section 1 - That the Mayor, on behalf of the Lexington-Fayette Urban County Government, be and hereby is authorized and directed to execute the Memorandum of Understanding, which is attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference, with Louisville/Jefferson County Metro Government for CPR Training and Certification.
