Authorization to accept an amended Agreement with the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) Program Funded State & Local Task Force (Res. #576-2016). The terms of the Agreement remain the same, October 1, 2016 through September 30, 2017. This amended Agreement allows for the two (2) Detectives assigned to the DEA State & Local Task Force, within the Lexington Police Department, to be assigned as Program Funded State & Local Task Force positions. BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE LEXINGTON-FAYETTE URBAN COUNTY GOVERNMENT:
Section 1 - That the Mayor, on behalf of the Lexington-Fayette Urban County Government, be and hereby is authorized and directed to execute the amended Agreement, which is attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference, with the Drug Enforcement Administration Program Funded State and Local Task Force for assignment of two detectives.
Section 2 - That this Resolution shall become effective on the date of its passage.
