BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE LEXINGTON-FAYETTE URBAN COUNTY GOVERNMENT:
Section 1 - That the Mayor, on behalf of the Lexington-Fayette Urban County Government, be and hereby is authorized and directed to execute and submit the Grant Application, which is attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference, to the MacArthur Foundation and to provide any additional information requested in connection with this Grant Application, which Grant funds are in the amount of $50,000.00, under the Safety and Justice Challenge Innovation Fund Grant Competition, and are for activities related to community engagement and systems reform, for the Division of Community Corrections.
Section 2 - That this Resolution shall become effective on the date of its passage.
