An Ordinance amending the Classified Civil Service authorized strength by abolishing two (2) positions of Engineering Tech Sr., Grade 516E, and creating two (2) positions of Engineering Tech Sr., Grade 516N, and abolishing (7) positions of Engineering Tech Principal, Grade 518E, and creating (7) positions of Engineering Tech Principal, Grade 518N, in the Div. of Engineering; abolishing fourteen (14) positions of Engineering Tech Sr., Grade 516E, and creating fourteen (14) positions of Engineering Tech Sr., Grade 516N, and abolishing five (5) positions of Engineering Tech Principal, Grade 518E, and creating five (5) positions of Engineering Tech Principal, Grade 518N, in the Div. of Water Quality; abolishing one (1) position of Engineering Tech Sr., Grade 516E, and creating one (1) position of Engineering Tech Sr., Grade 516N, in the Div. of Traffic Engineering; abolishing one (1) position of Fleet Operations Supervisor, Grade 519E, and creating one (1) position of Fleet Operations Supervisor, Grade 519N, in the Div. of Facilities & Fleet Management; abolishing three (3) positions of Planner, Grade 517E, and creating three (3) positions of Planner, Grade 517N, and abolishing fourteen (14) positions of Planner Sr., Grade 521E, and creating fourteen (14) positions of Planner Sr., Grade 521N, in the Div. of Planning; and abolishing one (1) position of Planner Sr., Grade 521E, and creating one (1) position of Planner Sr., Grade 521N, in the Div. of Environmental Services; transferring the incumbents from exempt to non-exempt positions and converting their biweekly salaries to hourly rates of pay, effective upon passage of Council.
